The energy-efficient method of regulating temperature

Since Daikin launched its first inverter air conditioner in 1984, it has promoted inverter products all over the world. Inverter models regulate temperature by adjusting the motor’s speed versus turning the motor on and off as conventional units do. The result is less energy usage, cost savings, better reliability, less noise and vibration, and tighter control around set points of temperature and humidity.

Heat Pump
Energy-saving technology that conveys heat without the need to generate heat

A heat pump is a technology that is used for air conditioning and hot water supply that works by extracting heat from the air and then transferring that heat. It can reduce CO2 emissions by half or less compared to combustion. As more countries replace fossil fuels with renewable energy, Daikin continues to expand its line of heat pump technologies—helping governments meet goals for lower emissions and bringing comfort and sustainability.

R-32 Refrigerant
The refrigerant with a lower environmental impact

Daikin was the world’s first company to succeed in applying R-32 to air conditioners, including those for residential use. R-32 conveys heat more efficiently which means it reduces electricity consumption up to approximately 12% compared to air conditioners using refrigerant R-410A. It also has a global warming potential (GWP) that is one-third lower than older refrigerants.
